Richa donned the female lead role in the Dhanush starrer Mayakkam Enna and Simbhu starrer Osthi. There was news that romance has blossomed between Richa and new face actor Sundar who had acted in Mayakkam Enna.
Recently, Richa accompanied Sundar to a five star hotel in Anna Salai and asked for a room but the hotel staff had said that they will permit only Richa to stay in the room and they will not permit Sundar to stay with her and because of this she picked up a quarrel with the hotel staff.
When asked Richa about this, she said, "There are wrong news these days about my personal life. No such incident took place in the hotel. I had participated in the promo function of Simbhu's Osthi and returned to the hotel little late. There were some problems in the settlement of bills. I was talking to the hotel authorities about this. At that juncture, Sundar came to the hotel to handover some of the photos. Apart from this nothing else has happened there. I am not in love with Sundar. We both are good
