Bala's next film is based on a Malayalam novel, say our sources in Kollywood. The ace director is looking to direct a family drama this time and has already zeroed in on late actor Murali's son Adharva.

This Malayalam novel that Bala is said to be eyeing has been translated in Tamil and the director wants to make a script out of it. He is now said to be working on recruiting the other cast and crew for this venture. An announcement from Bala's side will be made very soon, adds our source.
