TN Elections 2011

Tamil Nadu State Government has declared Holiday for Government and Govt Aided Institutions, Offices, Schools, Colleges on October 17, 19 2011.

For Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore (Kovai), Tiruchi and other Local Body Corporations going to poll on October 17 2011, holiday has been declared on that day to Government Offices, educational institutions located in those place.

For the remaining Local Bodies like Panchayat going to poll on October 19 2011, holiday has been declared on that day for Govt Institutions located in those places.

Note:

1. If you area Poll date is Oct 17, only that day is holiday for Govt institutions located in that area.Oct 19 is working day.

2. Similarly if Poll Date of your area is October 19, only that day is Holiday. October 17 is working day.

3. No Holiday on Counting of Votes, Results Day October 21 2011.
