TN Elections 2011
Tamil Nadu State Election Commission (TNSEC) has given final list of candidates for the Local Body Election.Today October 4 2011 at the end of time for withdrawing nomination, TNSEC has come out with figures on Candidates.
1. 5,27,875 People had Submitted Their Nomination.
2. 86,983 People had withdrawn Their Nomination.
3. 10,076 Nomination have been Rejected by Election Commission.
4. 19,646 Candidates have been Elected Unopposed.
5. Totaly 4,11,177 Candidates are in the Fray for 1,12,697 Posts all over Tamilnadu.
6. 32 Candidates in fray for Chennai Mayor Post.
